鬼怪INDEX has no accounts and no sign-in, and we do not run our own analytics. The site does show ads through Google AdSense (next section). Apart from that, no server of ours receives personal data you submit.

This site uses Google AdSense for one manual display unit on the archive index / list only. No ads in the VHS screening room or on individual records. Auto ads are off. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your activity here and on other sites. The page keeps exactly two items in your browser's (or the app WebView's) local storage, and they never leave your device: hx-shelf (fictional characters you summoned and chose to keep) and hx-sm-counter (a counter used to number summons). Clearing site data or uninstalling the app deletes them. AdSense may separately set Google cookies, governed by Google's policies.

Web: requests are the page itself, plus Google AdSense requests on list pages in order to show ads. The rest of an already-loaded archive still works offline. App: by default it never touches the network. Only if a build ships a pack feed will the app fetch supplemental content (new records and plates) from a host we specify at launch. That request carries nothing that identifies you; it downloads static files. The app build does not load AdSense.

The web version is hosted by Vercel at https://horror.llab08.com (studio root llab08.com). Like any host, it may retain standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, request time) for a short period for security and operations, governed by the host's own privacy policy. We do not use them to identify or track anyone.

This work contains horror and dread themes, unsettling imagery and prose. Imagery is deliberately held to a PG-13 line — no gore, wounds or dismemberment — but the whole is intended for adult readers. It is not directed at anyone under 17, and we do not knowingly collect anything from children.
